The greeting card business is a massive world wide business. In Canada and the USA, there are specialized stores that basically just sell greeting cards. Perhaps more telling is the fact that the world's biggest retailer WalMart has a greeting card aisle located close to the entrance to the store and the cash registers. One of the first exciting tasks a newbie on the internet can do is send a greeting card by email. There's no doubt about it, the greeting card business is all around us. Why? Well people just want to connect with other people. Birthdays, anniversaries, and religious events all foster the sending of greeting cards. It is almost an obligation.

However there are a few built in challenges. We forget or we are just too busy or both.

How many times have you wished you had sent a card to a relative or friend? How many times could you have improved on a business or personal relationship if you had only send a "thank you" card. How about an "I am Sorry" card. What do you think is the number one reason why we don't send cards?
